Senior Citizen Degen Club is Merging Art and Investing for the Ultimate Collaboration
Montreal, Canada - NFTs are taking the art world by storm, introducing a brand new way for artists and investors alike to profit off adored artwork. NFTs are upending the rules of digital ownership, these digital tokens are tied to assets that can be bought, sold, and traded--are enabling artists like Brother Merle to profit from their work more easily than ever before. Brother Merle is an artist, skateboarder, and commercial illustrator from Montreal, Canada. For the last two decades, he spent most of his time skateboarding and studying graphic design in Montreal and San Diego. After working for multiple companies, he decided to focus on creating his world of illustrations. After 10 years of building a strong brand, Brother Merle is headed for new endeavors, NFT projects.
Senior Citizen Degen Club is a startup NFT project designed by the Canadian Artist, Gabriel Lalande also known as Brother Merle. They offer a system of tokenomics with high utility in both the physical and digital world. Holders of these digital tokens will be able to participate in play to earn games, buy digital scratching tickets and receive free Brother Merle's merchandise with their tokens. The vision for this new and exciting project brings benefits to both the artists and the art holders. An investment fund will also be created and a percentage of secondary sales royalties will be redirected into that fund every month. This will allow every holder to receive various gifts each year in perpetuity. "This will ensure that SCDC will be here for the long term. We want to give back to our community by bringing real life value to our holders," says founder-Raphael Beaulieu. "We will manage the portfolio for them and they will receive different kinds of prizes every year in perpetuity. We want everybody to be able to retire, this is our WHY."
NFTs are best understood as computer files combined with proof of ownership and authenticity. Like cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, they exist on a blockchain--a tamper-resistant digital public ledger. Cryptocurrencies are "fungible," meaning one bitcoin is always worth the same as any other bitcoin, just like a dollar. However, NFTs have unique valuations set by the highest bidder. This phenomenon is attracting a strange brew of artists and collectors, in addition to speculators simply looking to invest. "We have a solid team of developers, artists, and managers. Brother Merle has been building his brand for more than 10 years. No underpromise, overdeliver BS. Everything we promise WILL be delivered." The SCDC token system â??â??will have a lot of utilities in both the real and digital world. They are constantly innovating and finding new ways to use their token. The Web3 space is still in its infancy and this is what is so exciting. As builders in this new space, the Senior Citizen Degen Club believes NFTs will revolutionize the digital world, and they want to be a part of that revolution.
