Air Products and Chemicals Inc. (NYSE:APD) was up 7.83% over the last one month

Air Products has announced that it will supply Sonatrach with four of its MCR(R) Main Cryogenic Heat Exchangers (MCHEs) for the latter's GL1Z LNG facility in Arzew, Algeria. The four units will each produce 1.3 million tonnes every year, The exchangers are expected to replace the cones supplied by Air Products in the 1970s, They are among the oldest MCHEs in the world.

The four exchangers will be installed at Sonatrach's proprietary AP-C3MR(TM) propane pre-cooled mixed refrigerant liquefaction process. The original six MCHE where supplied to Sonatrach in 1977. The original location has since gone through several renovations although the MCHEs are still in service.
