China Life Insurance Reports Premium Income Of $61 Billion In 1H 2020

China Life Insurance Co Ltd (NYSE:LFC) has a PEG ratio of 0.15. As the PEG Ratio is less than 1, the company is undervalued and is bullish. The company posted a premium income of $61 billion in the first half of 2020 which is 13% YOY. In June the company reported a 50.78% YoY increase in premium income and 80.19% QoQ increase.

The insurance company announced that it won 7 awards form the 2020 All-Asia Executive Team ranking of institutional investors. This includes being the "Most Honored Companies" among the 1,472 contenders. Since last year the company launched the "Dingxin Project" seeking to promote market-focused reforms and a push towards the objective of "China Life Revitalization."

Carnival Prices Offering Of 99.185 Million Shares And Repurchase Of Notes

Carnival plc (NYSE:CUK) is also looking bullish and since its PEG ratio of 0.23 is less than 1, then it means the company is undervalued. The company has announced that it priced a direct offering of a total of 99.185 million common shares at $14.02 per share to some holders of the 5.75 Convertible Senior Notes due in 2023. Carnival will use the proceeds in repurchasing from the holders around $885.589 million of its Convertible Notes in negotiates transactions. The company will not get any proceeds from these Transactions and will be required to pay expenses and customary fees.

Italian authorities have given Carnival-owned cruise line Costa Cruises an okay to commence operations. The announcement comes days after MSC cruises indicated that they will commence cruises on August 16 in Italy.

Fiat Chrysler To Change Name To Stellantis Following Merger With PSA Group

Another bullish looking stock is Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV (NYSE:FCAU) whose PEG ratio of 0.24 is less than 1, meaning the company is undervalued. The company and PSA Group are planning to name their merged company Stellantis. Interestingly the name will be used at the corporate level and auto brands such as Fiat, Jeep, Chrysler, Peugeot, and Alfa Romeo will not change. Fiat and PSA Group will finalize the merger transaction in Q1 2021.

Fiat Chrysler has announced that it might recall cars that pollute too much. During its quarterly filing, the company stated that there was excessive pollution from vehicles that have the 2.4 liter "Tigershark" Engine.
