The rise of Nikola Corporation(NASDAQ:NKLA) has earned it a position as one of the Robinhood most popular stocks. Currently, it stands at a figure of about $15.64 Billion.

The Nikola Corporation founder Trevor Milton made an interesting announcement about what he wanted to do for the 50 employees of the electric-truck startup. These employees will receive 6 million of this official's shares as part of keeping his word on a promise he made when hiring them.

In a video posted on his Instagram page, Mr Milton spoke about his struggle to find the best employees around the globe. He further stated that it had been a monumental risk. From the outlook, success seemed elusive. However, it got to a point when he came across some employees that expressed willingness to join hands with him from day one to work and move forward.

His move to handover shares in the Phoenix-based company has been received with great excitement, and these are worth $233 million. Analysts have noticed the major spike in stock from the time Nikola started trading on the Nasdaq. It started in early June and that had been via a reverse merger. Investors have lately had a great appetite for the leading electric-vehicle manufacturers. So far, it hasn't yet produced its first vehicle.

The self-described serial entrepreneur Mr Milton has been doing a lot in efforts to promote the firm. He is said to have dropped high school, though later on he made it in the General Educational Development. His story draws a parallel to that of the world's fourth-richest person called Elon Musk.

The point that the official is worth about $4.6 billion at only 37 is interesting. The rating is based on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index that focused on the 500 richest people around the globe. His standing might drop immediately the share transfer is completed.
