Kansas City Southern (NYSE:KSU) with a float short of 1.60% looks bullish. The company has declared a dividend of $0.25 per share on its outstanding 4% non-cumulative preferred stock. The dividend will be paid on October 6, 2020, to shareholders that will be ion record as of September 14, 2020.

A group of investors has made a takeover bid for Kansas City Southern which is currently valued at $17 billion. Global Infrastructure Partners and Blackstone Group Inc. have submitted a takeover offer even though they were rebuffed previously. It is unclear whether the company will be receptive following the latest advance but people familiar with issues stated that the company has been working with Morgan Stanley about the bid.

The single-family rental is set to leverage low mortgage rates and growing prefacer for more space in urban living to buy more properties in the US. Recently the company raised $448 million through stock sales and will user 66.7% of the amount in buying properties.

Dallas Tanner the CEO of the company said that housing fundamentals are amazing currently and they are ready to handle more scale which is around two times the current footprint. Tanner indicated that the current environment is ideal for the housing markets and they expect an increase in home buyers that are seeking spacious homes rather than tighter urban living.

Spotify Technology Supporting Payments For Subscriptions Through GoPay

Another bullish looking stock is Spotify Technology SA (NYSE:SPOT) whose float short is 2.44%. GoPay users can now use their e-wallet for paying for Spotify services. Users can now pay for the Spotify Premium Family and Spotify Premium Duo subscription plans using GoPay. The Spotify Premium Duo fees start from $4.42 per month. The music streaming platform is also offering one-time payment packages for a day, week, month, three months, and a year.

Recently the company entered an exclusive sponsorship agreement with Riot Games' League of Legends to be the exclusive audio service provider for all the content of the game. The multi-year deal will give Spotify access to the huge League of Legends fan base.
