Remington Tattoo Parlor Offers Services of Female Tattoo Artists in San Diego

Remington Tattoo Parlor is happy to announce that they are offering the services of female tattoo artists in San Diego. They want to point out that they have two of the best female tattoo artists in the city. These are Sarah Genereux and Jasmine Worth. Sarah specializes in floral tattoos and she has been working with Remington Tattoo Parlor for the first four years that the tattoo parlor has been open. She only left when she became pregnant and wanted to raise her two children. She is returning to once again practice her craft. Meanwhile, Jasmine Worth is a classically trained oil painter and studied art formally through ateliers. She completed her BFA at the Laguna College of Art and Design and she integrates her interest in the Occult with her art, allowing her to become famous for her dark art and spell tattoos.

Sarah Genereux has 15 years experience as a professional tattoo artist. She was born and raised in New Jersey and became interested in art at a very young age. She studied at the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, PA, for a few years but she soon realized that her interest was in tattooing. She underwent a traditional tattooing apprenticeship that lasted for 2,000 hours under another female tattoo artist. At the same time, she worked for a tattoo supply company where she drew flash and working in different parts of the company as part of the apprenticeship. She studied how to make her own needles, assemble her own tattoo machines, and power supplies. She moved to the west coast in 2007 in pursuit of warm weather and surfing. She believes in her versatility as a tattoo artist and enjoys working on tattoos of different styles.

After she obtained her BFA degree from the Laguna College of Art and Design, Jasmine Worth learned the art of tattooing from her mentor, Terry Ribera, in 2015. She is currently excited to apply her classical art knowledge to the art of tattooing. She has been successful as a gallery artist since 2003, with her works on display at various galleries all over the world. Her most recent shows include a feature show at La Luz de Jesus Gallery in Los Angeles, CA, and a two-person show with Chet Zar at Paul Booth’s Last Rites Gallery in New York City, NY.

Terry Ribera, who is the lead tattoo artist at Remington Tattoo Parlor, has been tattooing since 2001. He began his tattooing career at a tattoo parlor in San Diego that was established in 1949. He has experienced working in various tattoo shops for a number of years.

This San Diego tattoo shop specializes in traditional, full color, neo-traditional, black & grey, Japanese, biomechanical, illustrative, spell, American, dark art, geometric, black work, floral, fully custom tattoos, pinup, and flash. They cater to a broad range of tattooing styles, with each tattoo artist having his or her strengths for certain styles so customers are urged to personally meet with the artists to better understand their styles.

Remington Tattoo Parlor will provide a tattoo consultation process for every client. After getting an email or a phone call from a client, they will schedule a 30- to 60-minute consultation process to discuss the tattoo vision of the specific client and his or her reference images.

Clients are encouraged to bring pictures that served as their inspiration for the kind of tattoo that they desire. The goal of the consultation process is to make sure that the artist truly understands the client’s vision for the tattoo, including the timeline, cost, and designs. During the consultation, the design and concept for the tattoo are finalized, and then they will schedule the client’s appointment and receive the deposit. The tattoo project may be divided into a number of tattooing sessions, depending on the complexity and the size of the tattoo to be made.

Those who are interested in tattoo services in San Diego can visit the Remington Tattoo Parlor website, or contact them on the phone or through email. They are open from Monday to Sunday, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
