Hope Healthcare Adds Mental Health Services for the Uninsured
Hope Healthcare has added mental health counseling to their list of services for the uninsured in Hendricks County, Indiana. Since 2005, Hope Healthcare has offered medical and dental service to patients that have no medical insurance, dental insurance, or government assistance such as Medicare or Medicaid. Hope has achieved this by getting medical and dental doctors to donate their time and services to the citizens of Hendricks County that are in need.
Refining Grace Counseling now adds mental health services to the list of resources that Hope Healthcare is able to offer, thanks to the donated time of local mental health professionals Stephanie Castle, Paul A. Ober, Jennifer Parker, Morgan Jones, and Monica Erk.
The program offers low-cost professional therapy with a Christian-integrated perspective. The organization’s goal is to “facilitate a counseling experience that allows space to safely explore concerns, while offering support, encouragement, and tools that help our clients successfully manage their inner processes and relationship dynamics.”
Currently, Hendricks County is ranked 2nd in the state for health according to County Health Ranking and Roadmaps. Hope Healthcare believes that while this ranking is positive, there is always room for improvement. For example, 15% of the population of Hendricks County is still living with poor or fair health conditions and the county is also home to a higher-than-average number of smokers and obese citizens.
With the addition of mental health services, Hope Healthcare now covers a full range of issues for the uninsured citizens of Hendricks County. To learn more about these services and how to get involved, contact Hope Healthcare today at 317-272-0708.
